Chip has decades of experience in creating value in the healthcare and drug development sectors. He founded ValueGen Partners in 2013, a consultancy devoted to identifying areas of development and commercialization opportunity within Pharma, Biotech, Medical device, Healthcare and Capital Institutions, and then assembling teams of experts to harness these opportunities.
Previously, Chip was Global Vice President and Head of Client Solutions at Quintiles (now IQVIA, NSYE: IQV), where he led a team that worked with both top pharma and public and private life science companies. Under Chip’s leadership, Quintiles became the recognized industry leader in creating and operating risk partnerships – forming more than 80 partnerships, managing over 2,000 FTEs and investing more than $1 billion.
Prior to joining Quintiles, Chip was CEO of a venture-funded technology company, where he successfully completed multiple rounds of funding and moved the company through early stage development to successful product launch. Earlier in his career he was the founding partner of a strategic investment group involved in an industry-wide rollup, and he has served as president or vice president of a number of private companies where he managed multiple acquisitions and a management buyout from Kohlberg, Kravis and Roberts.
Chip received a master’s degree in business administration from Duke University and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from St. Louis University.
